"B"--birds, bees and the latest buzz
« on: September 02, 2006, 10:20:50 AM »

I can't get the right
Combination for Ali... Embarrassed
Or is it just me?
Something to do with night
Will it give me a clue to Urguul?
Or just leave us to mull.... Grin

A riddle this hard deserves a tip
From one who solved it with only a trip
To a single site laced with Turkish delights
Without this reference, no work will suffice
To reveal the answer, in part or in whole
For the Urguul bird is a human "______"

I realize I've never outlined a policy regarding hints.  While directly revealing answers on the forum is discouraged, you are more than welcome to offer hints.  I particularly like the way Runner approached the task.  Poetry is welcome!

Shocked  Only a Runner...well, you should have over 500 riddles to think about on
the runs.  Thanks!  I remember Roger Bannister, I suppose his record in now
dust. but he showed what a good heart can do.

Depending on the Maxi, Runner or Josh here....
Still can't get the right combo for Ahmet Ali...
Haven't got any decent hiking boots so not any threat to you
(since Josh has already got the artifact in the kitchen).

Have figured out it is a two word answer:  ____ and ____

Could be two words, though all you need is one.
Figure out my hint and soon you'll be done.
To escape from this riddle, empty you must be
Not full or content, or laughing with glee
Nope, the emptiness you feel ought to be lasting
You're doing without; you're someone who's _______.

At last...almost ready to trade Udo as #1 son, although he is great as a son,
he got me into this mess and although I have enjoyed it...have become
most than slightly obsessed.  Thanks for the riddle redeux!  When you get
to the Space Center, I hope Jim Lovell is still living in the area...he will enjoy
your "attitude" which he felt was most important for space venturing.  Thanks
again.

Remember who chooses your home.  It can be close to me, or it can be in Greenland.

There is nothing quite so touching as the love between a mother and her son!   Wink

Well, you know about fooling MotherNature...(she is a first cousin) and he
has some sort of responsibility for this riddle stuff.   Kiss

You know I meant to mention earlier that there is a slight typo in some of the code for series B. That is, the one labeled "b53" is really supposed to be "b43". Not sure if anyone else had noticed that yet, but it threw me off for the longest time until I figured that out.

That said, anyone else almost have the complete code yet? For B, or for A and C. Just curious.

I've set series B aside for now, mainly because a certain someone has already retrieved the artifact.  I've getting pretty darn close with Series A.....  Some of the riddles are pretty tricky.  I'll have enough to take a crack at the code pretty soon.

Thanks for the heads-up about the mislabeled Series B code!

It's been mentioned before, but does anyone have any good ideas on how to collaborate on solving the codes while still being able to split the reward evenly? If so, I'd be interested...but I'm also just interested in seeing what everyone thinks of the idea. I wouldn't want to share ideas if it gave anyone, including me, an unfair advantage.
