I think the last picture captured evolution pretty succinctly. There is no doubt that we are physically regressing behind our keyboards. As I write this, I feel my curved back aching and my knuckles creaking.

Now, I'm no Aussie, so I shouldn't talk, but I think the finest beer is Victoria Bitter. I can't find it anywhere in the states, though.

...Best band EVER!: AC/DC If they do it for ya, that's cool, but I'd seriously have to disagree. It's about what one likes I suppose. I'd have to put Zepplin over them in that category of music. Now I, on the other hand, Think that "Tears For Fears" is the Greatest band 'Ever'. But I'd also say that I think many would disagree. Most of the stuff I like from them isn't the 'radio' stuff you've probably heard from them. But as I say, that's just my opinion.

AC/DC is good, but it's hard to take them seriously, because (like ZZ Top), much of their material is sexual innuendo. I haven't heard enough Tears for Fears to say they aren't the best ever. I like their radio material, though. I think Journey was an excellent band. They're still making music, but it really hasn't been the same without Steve Perry. Styx is another band and that has done well commercially and yet also made a lot of artistic music. I put Led Zeppelin in the same boat as Pink Floyd, in that I like them as a rock band--that is, I like their rock songs--but when they go into the fusion/jazz mode, I lose interest. Talented performers but poor songwriters deserves recognition, but still won't hold my interest for long... like Dream Theatre. That said, I still think Rush is the best. They are much like Led Zep and Floyd, in that if you don't like the mainstream songs, it won't hold one's interest. I happen to like their "other tracks."

The double intendre are what kept me hooked, I got into AC/DC during the puberty years so it was easy to be drawn to them. Their style just meshed with me, I probably wouldn't list them under the heading "Quality Musicianship", but give me some hard driving rock any day.

Anyone heard of Saigon Kick? They were a one-hit wonder. I somehow got hooked on the one decent song they produced.
